Hawthorn berries are used to make a rosé coloured gin infusion. They impart a slightly tart and floral flavor to gin, with hints of apple, pear, and cinnamon. They are sometimes used together with sloeberries.
As the seeds contain cyanide, we supply slices with the seeds removed.
 
Hawthorn berries are well established to support cardiovascular health, protecting against heart disease while also helping to control high blood pressure and high cholesterol. They should not be taken by people who have problems with low blood pressure.
